SEBI Recruitment, 147 grade A Officer

SEBI Recruitment 2020 – Security and Exchange Board of India invites online job application from the eligible Indain candidates for the post of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) for General Stream, Legal Stream,  Information Technology Stream, Engineering Stream, Research Stream and Official Language Stream within the age limit of 30 years are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on the Examination, Personality Test / Interview.

         Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at SEBI website (www.sebi.gov.in) on or before  31st May 2020. The detailed eligibility and application process are given below.

2. Legal Stream
3. Information Technology Stream
4. Engineering Stream
5. Research Stream
6. Official Language Stream

1. General Stream

• Vacancies:- 80, Out of Which PwBD*-5                         
• Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR- 32, OBC-22, SC-12, ST-6, EWS-8
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-          1.Master's Degree in any Discipline, Bachelor's Degree in Law, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognised Institute/University,CA/CFA/CS/Cost Accountant

2. Legal Stream

• Vacancies:- 34, Out of Which PwBD* - 2
• Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR-12, OBC-12, SC-6, ST-2, EWS-2
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-  Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognised Institute/University

3. Information Technology Stream

• Vacancies:- 22, Out of Which PwBD*- 2     
• Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR-8, OBC-8, SC-3, ST-2, EWS-1 
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical /Electronics/ElectronicsAnd Communication/Information Technology/Computer Science) OR Masters in Computers Application OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a post graduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in Computers/ Information Technology.

4.a. Engineering Stream(Civil)

• Vacancies:- 1, Out of Which PwBD* - 1
• Category wise Vacancy Position:- SC-1
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-  Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute/University

4.a. Engineering Stream(Electrical)

• Vacancies:- 4, Out of Which PwBD* - 1
• Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR-2, OBC-1, SC-1
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-  Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised Institute/University

5. Research Stream

• Vacancies:- 5, Out of Which PwBD* - 1
• Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR-3, OBC-1, ST-1
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-  Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Economics/ Commerce/Business, Administration(Finance)/ Econometrics from a recognized University / Institute.

6. Official Language Stream

• Vacancies:- 1, Out of Which PwBD* - 1
• Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR-1
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level or Master’s Degree in Sanskrit / English / Economics / Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level from a recognized University / Institute.

NB: Only those candidates belonging to 'Non Creamy Layer' are eligible to apply under OBC Category

The PwBD candidates may belong to any category (GEN/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWSs) and they will be eligible for age relaxations.

Candidates can apply for maximum of 2 streams only.

 Age Limit (as on 29/02/2020):

Age Limit : 30 years.
Age Relaxation as per Govt rules.

Pay Scale

The pay scale of officers in Grade A is Rs. 28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)-46600-EB-1750(4)-53600-2000(1)-55600 (17 years).

The officer will gate other Benefits and Accommodation.(as per notification)

Important Dates

• Start Date for Online Application:  27.03.2020
• Last Date of Online Application and Fees Payment:  31.05.2020
• Date of Phase I Online Exam: 04.07.2020
• Date of Phase II Online Exam: 23.08.2020
• Date of Phase III Interview: Will be initiated later.

Application Fee

• For UR/OBC/EWS-  1000 as application fee cum intimation charge
• SC /ST/PwBD-  100 as intimation charge

Method of Recruitment 

Mode of selection shall be a three stage process i.e. Phase I (on-line screening
examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each), Phase II (on-line examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each) and Phase III (Interview).
