CPCB Recruitment 2020 – Ccentral Pollution Control Board is a Statutory Organisation under Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change. CPCB invites online job application from the eligible and suitable Indain nationals for the direct recruitment for the post of Scientist-B, Senior Technician, LDC and other posts on regular basis throgh open competitive exam on all India basis. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/ B.Tech/ Diploma/ITI/12th/10th in respective disciplines within desired age limit are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on the Examination, Personality Test / Interview.

Recruitment Examination 2020 under Central Pollution Control Board for the Post of :-

1. Scientist - B 
2. Junior Scientific Assistant
3. Senior Technician
4. Data Entry Operator (Grade-II)
5. Junior Technician
6. Junior Laboratory Assistant
7. Lower Division Clerk
8. Attendant (MTS)

1. Scientist - B

• Vacancies:- 13.                         
• Category wise Vacancy Position*:- UR- 4, EWS-3,SC-2,ST-1,OBC-3                           
• Scale of Pay and Grade Pay:- Level-10 in Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100 - Rs.1,77,500/-) 
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-          Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or Institution in Civil/Chemical/Environmental– 10 posts, Mechanical - 01post and Mining – 01 post. Preferential: Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering /Technology.              

  Essential:Master’s Degree in Natural/ Agricultural Sciences from a recognised University/Institution - 01 post.   Preferential: NET Qualified / Ph.D.

• Age Limit :- Not exceeding 35 years.

NB: No age limit for the officers working in CPCB for the above posts of Scientific-B.

2. Junior Scientific Assistant

• Vacancies:- 02                        
• Category wise Vacancy Position*:- UR-01, EWS-01
• Scale of Pay and Grade Pay:- Level-6 in Pay Matrix (Rs.35,400 - Rs.1,12,400/-)
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:- Essential: A degree in science with 4 years’ of experience in the line, preferably in pollution control or related subjects. Desirable: Master’s degree in science.
• Age Limit- 30 years

3. Senior Technician

• Vacancies:- 06                        
• Category wise Vacancy Position*:- UR-05, OBC-01
• Scale of Pay and Grade Pay:- Level-6 in Pay Matrix (Rs.35,400 Rs.1,12,400/-).
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-Essential: Diploma in Instrumentation (04 posts) / Diploma in Electronic (01 post)/ Diploma in Mechanical (01 postxperience in the relevant field.
• Age Limit :- 30 Years.

4.Data Entry Officer (Grade II)

• Vacancies:- 02                       
• Category wise Vacancy Position*:- UR-01, OBC-01
• Scale of Pay:- Level-4 in Pay Matrix (Rs.25,500 - Rs.81,100/-)
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:- (a) 12th standard pass or equivalent, from a recognized Board /University (b) should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work.
• Age Limit :- 30years.

5.Junior Technician.

• Vacancies:- 02                       
• Category wise Vacancy Position*:- UR-02
• Scale of Pay:- Level-4 in Pay Matrix (Rs.25,500 - Rs.81,100/-)
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-(a)10th class pass from a recognized Board/ Institution (b) Certificate from ITI in Mechanical trade (c) 3 years of experience in servicing laboratory machines in an organization/institution of repute.
• Age Limit :- 18-25 years

6.Junior Laboratory Assistant

• Vacancies:- 07                       
• Category wise Vacancy Position*:- UR-02, OBC-01, SC-01, EWS- 3. Out of these 07 posts, 03 posts are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.
• Scale of Pay:- Level-2 in Pay Matrix (Rs.19,900 - Rs.63,200/-).
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-  Essential: 12th Class pass with Science subjects from a recognised Board / University. Desirable:  Essential: 12thclass pass with Science subjects from a recognized Board / University. Desirable: Degree in Science from the recognized University / Institution.
• Age Limit :- 18-25 years.

7.LOWER DIVISION CLERK

• Vacancies:- 13                       
• Category wise Vacancy Position*:- UR-06, OBC-03, SC-02, ST-01, EWS-01 |Out of 13 posts of LDC, 01 post is reserved for Ex-serviceman, 01 for PwBD (Blindness & Low Vision) and  01 for PwBD(Deaf and Hard of Hearing)|
• Scale of Pay:- Level-2 in Pay Matrix (Rs.19,900 - Rs.63,200/-).
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-(a) Bachelor's degree from a recognised University (b) Typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 in Hindi
• Age Limit :- 18-25 years.

8.Attendant(MTS)

• Vacancies:- 03                      
• Category wise Vacancy Position*:-  EWS-01, OBC-01
• Scale of Pay: Level-1 in Pay Matrix (Rs.18,000- Rs.56,900) 
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-    Essential: 8th Standard Pass from a recognized school. Desirable: 10th Standard Pass from a recognized school/Board. Training in basic and Refresher course in Home Guards and Civil Defence.
• Age limit:- 18-25years.

* Person with Benchmark Disabilities i.e. OA, OL & HH can also apply

Age Relaxation:
Age Relaxation is applicable to the  SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.

• Start Date for Online Registration: 05.05.2020
• Last Date of Online Registration: 25.05.2020 
• Last Date of Sending Application through e-mail : 30.05.2020

Only the online applications will be accepted. Applicants should send one 

hard copy of the filled application form only after affixing his signature and 

passport size photograph on the application form in pdf through e-mail within 30th May to

recruitment.cpcb@nic.in in case the present situation of lockdown in the 

country is continued.

There is no need of sending copies of certificates and supporting 

documents with the application form.

In case of the lockdown withdrawn by the Government of India then the hard copy of the application after affixing photograph and signature will be sent to the following address and the 

envelope should be super scribed with “Application for the post of 

………………”
