Online Registration
Fresh applicants first need to complete the online registration form. After successful registration, a 15-character Applicant ID is generated.

Eligible Kanyashree applicants need to complete the Kanyashree K2 authentication process before proceeding to registration.
The official portal asks for information such as the Kanyashree K2 application year, Kanyashree ID, applicant name, date of birth, father's name and mother's name.
Girls pursuing regular postgraduate courses in Science, Arts or Commerce without a Kanyashree K2 ID are instructed by the official portal to apply under the Directorate of Public Instruction category. The portal states that the criteria and benefits are the same as K3.

Existing SVMCM beneficiaries do not need to complete fresh registration for renewal. They can login using their previous Applicant ID and password.
