Candidates must satisfy the qualification requirements prescribed for the relevant trade. The main qualification route is SSC/10th Standard with Science subjects and minimum 55% marks along with the relevant ITI certificate or National/State Trade Certificate.

SSC / 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects and minimum 55% marks plus 3 years of relevant work experience in a Ministry, Department, Organisation, PSU or Autonomous Body under the Government of India, State or UT.
