What is Azim Premji Scholarship 2026?

The Azim Premji Scholarship is an initiative of the Azim Premji Foundation that supports girl students from poor and unprivileged backgrounds in pursuing college education.

The scholarship provides an annual financial support of ₹30,000 per year until the course ends that she is persuing.

Azim Premji Scholarship 2026 Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a girl student.
  • She must have passed both Class 10 and Class 12 as a regular student.

Eligible States & UTs

For 2026–27, students who completed Class 10 and Class 12 as regular students from government schools or colleges in the following regions are eligible to apply for the scholarship:

Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi (NCT), Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

New for 2026: Andhra Pradesh and Delhi (NCT) have been added to the eligible regions.

Selected students receive ₹30,000 per year till the course gets completed.

Eligible Courses:

Recognised undergraduate degree or diploma course having a duration of 2 to 5 years.

The applicant must be a first-year regular student and the course must be her first undergraduate degree or diploma after Class 12.

Documents Required:

The following things are need at the time of Online Application. So, candidates are advised to arrange this things before applying online.

  • Passport-size photograph: Recent 2×2 inch colour photograph.
  • Aadhaar Card: Clear, coloured copy of both side of the Aadhar Card
  • Bank account proof: First page of the bank passbook showing account holder name, account number, IFSC and branch details.
  • Class 10 marksheet: Clear copy of the front side.
  • Class 12 marksheet: Clear copy of the front side.
  • College admission proof: Bonafide Certificate or Tuition Fee Receipt of course, college and academic-year details.

Who Is Not Eligible for Azim Premji Scholarship?
