Recruitment Examination 2021 for Assistant & Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil), Surveyor, Draftsman, Work Assistant, Lower Division Clerk and Assistant Town Planner under Mohabani Development Authority

MSCWB Recruitment 2021 – Municipal Service Commission, West Bengal invites online job application from the eligible Indain candidates for the post of Assistant & Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil), Surveyor, Draftsman, Work Assistant, Lower Division Clerk, Assistant Town Planner under Mohabani Development Authority. Candidates with the desired qualification in respective disciplines are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on the Examination, Personality Test / Interview.

1. Assistant Engineer- (Civil)
2. Sub-Assistant Engineer- (Civil)
3. Surveyor
4. Draftsman
5. Work Assistant
6. Lower Division Clerk
7. Assistant Town Planner

1. Assistant Engineer-(Civil)

• Vacancies:- 01.                         
• Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR- 1
• Scale of Pay:- Pay level-16
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-          1. A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from an institute recognised by All India Council of Technical Institute (AICTE).
• Age as on 01.01.2021 :- 18-36 years.

2. Sub-Assistant Engineer-(Civil)

• Vacancies:- 01.                         
• Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR- 01
• Scale of Pay:- Pay level-12,
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-          1. A Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institute recognised by All India Council of Technical Institute (AICTE).
• Age as on 01.01.2021 :- 18-36 years.

3. Surveyor

• Vacancies:- 01                        
• Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR-01
• Scale of Pay and Grade Pay:- Level 9 in Pay Matrix, 28900/-
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-A  Higher Secondary or its equivalent with certificate in Survey or Diploma in Survey or Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institute recognised by All India Council of Technical Institute (AICTE).
• Age as on 01.01.2021 :- 18-39 years.

4. Draftsman

• Vacancies:- 01                        
• Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR-01
• Scale of Pay and Grade Pay:- Level 9 in Pay Matrix, 28900/-
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-Higher Secondary or its equivalent with certificate Diploma in Architecture or Civil Draftsmanship from an institute recognized by All India Council of Technical Institute (AICTE).
• Age as on 01.01.2021 :- 18-39 years.

5. Work Assistant

• Vacancies:- 01                  
• Category wise Vacancy Position:-  UR-01
• Scale of Pay and Grade Pay:- Level 6 in Pay Matrix, 22700/-
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-Madhyamik or its equivalent with knowledge of Computer Application and ability of typing in computer @20 words per minute in English.

• Age as on 01.01.2021 :- 18-40years

6. Lower Division Clerk

• Vacancies:- 02                 
• Category wise Vacancy Position:-UR-1,SC-1
• Scale of Pay and Grade Pay:- Level 6 in Pay Matrix, 22700/-
• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-Madhyamik or its equivalent with certificate course on Computer Application.

• Age as on 01.01.2021 :- 18-40years

7. Assistant Town Planner

• Vacancies:- 01.               

• Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR- 01

• Scale of Pay and Grade Pay:- Pay Level-16,

• Minimum Educational Knowledge:-          1. A Post Graduate degree in Town Planning or City Planning or Urban Planning or House Planning or Country Planning or Rural Planning or infrastructure Planning or Regional Planning or Transport Planning or Environmental Planning from a University or Institute recognised by AICTE with 01 year experience* in the field of Urban or Regional Planning in the central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Universities or Recognised Research Institutes or Public Sector Understandings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisation.

*Experience must be gained within the closing date of examination.
 Or, Bachelor of Planning or Bachelor of Technology in Planning from a University or Institute recognised by AICTE with 04 years of experience* in the field of Urban or Regional Planning in the central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Universities or Recognised Research Institutes or Public Sector Understandings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous or Private Organisation.

●  Age as on 01.01.2021 :- 18-36years

NB:- Both Men and Women are eligible for above posts.

Age Relaxation:

Age Relaxation is applicable to the  SC/ST/OBC(A&B) candidates of West Bengal as per rules.

SC & ST- 5 years, OBC(A&B)- 3 years.
Others- As per Govt rules.

• Last Date of Online Registration and Challan generation:  04.11.2021
• Last Date of Application fee Deposition: 06.11.2021
• Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 08.11.2021

• For UR and OBC(A&B)- 220 (Application Fee - 150, Processing Fee - 50 and Bank Charge -20)
• SC and ST- 70 (Processing Fee - 50 and Bank Charge -20)
