Kolkata Police Recruitment 2021- Kolkata Police SI, Sub Inspectress and Sergeant recruitment: Kolkata police invites online and off-line applications from eligible Indian citizens having following eligibility criteria for recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspector/Sub-Inspectress (Unarmed Branch) and Sergeant in Kolkata Police-2021.
Eligibility Criteria for Kolkata Police Recruitment 2021 :
(1) Age:
For UR Candidate :-20 -27 years old as on 01.01.2021.
For SC and ST Candidate- Age relaxation of 5 years.
The upper age limit for the Departmental candidates of Kolkata Police only shall be relaxable upto 35 years which shall further be relaxed by 5 years in case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates and by 3 years in the case of Other Backward Classes candidates.
(2) Educational Qualifications required for Kolkata police Recruitement 2021:
The applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or its equivalent.
(3) Language required for Kolkata Police Recruitment 2021:
The applicant must be able to speak, read and write in Bengali. This will not be applicable to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.

Application Procedure for Kolkata Police Recruitment 2021:
Application Forms may be submitted through on-line or off line modes during from 19.07.2021 (00:00 hrs.) to 19.08.2021 (5 PM).
The last date of receipt of filled in Application Form through postal services (for off-line applicants) is 19.08.2021 (5 PM). The last date of deposit of Application and/or Processing Fees in respect of only the applicants applying through on-line mode using Punjab National Bank Challan will be 21.08.2021 during banking hours due to technical reasons.
