SSC CPO Recruitment 2020 – The Staff Selection Commission invites online job application from the eligible Indain candidates for the post of Sub Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Sub Inspector (SI) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs)  for 1564 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification of Bachelor Degree within the age limit of  20 to 25 years are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on Part-I examination, Physical Efficiency Test(PET), Part-II, and Detailed Medical Examination.
         Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at SSC website (https://ssc.nic.in) on or before 16 July 2020. The detailed eligibility and application process are given below.

  • Start Date for Online Application: 17.06.2020
  • Last Date and Time of Receipt of Application: 16.07.2020 (23:30)
  • Last Date and Time for  Online Payment:  18.07.2020 (23:30)
  • Last Date and Time for Generation of Offline Challan: 20.07.2020 (23:30)
  • Last Date of Payment Through Challan: 22.07.2020

  • Dates of  Computer Based Examination: 29.09.2020 to 05.10.2020
  • Date of  Computer Based Examination (Part-2):  01.03.2021

1. Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police (Male)

  • Vacancies:- 91                     
  • Category wise Vacancy Position:-                 
  • Scale of Pay :- Pay Scale level-6 (35,400-1,12,400)
  • Minimum Educational Knowledge:-           A Bachelor dergee  from a recognised University.                                        


2.Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police(Female)

  • Vacancies:- 78                       
  • Category wise Vacancy Position:- UR-35, EWS-08, SC-12, ST-6,OBC-17
  • Scale of Pay and Grade Pay:-Pay Scale level-6 (35,400-1,12,400)
  • Minimum Educational Knowledge:- A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.


3. Sub-Inspector in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs)

  • Vacancies:- 1395                         
  • Category wise Vacancy Position:-                   
    Ssc recruitment, CAPF recruitment, ssc cpo Recruitment
  • Scale of Pay and Grade Pay:- Pay Scale level-6 (35,400-1,12,400)
  • Minimum Educational Knowledge:-          A  Bachelor's dergee from a recognised University.                                       

Physical Endurance Test (PET) (For all posts):


For male candidates:

100 metre race in 16 seconds
1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
Long Jump: 3.65 metre in 3 chances
High Jump : 1.2 metre in 3 chances
Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metre in 3 chance

For female candidates:

100 metre race in 18 seconds
800 metre race in 4 minutes
Long Jump: 2.7 metre in 3 chances
High Jump: 0.9 metre in 3 chances.

Age (As on 01.01.2021) of SSC CPO Recruitment 2020

  • Minimum Age- 20
  • Maximum Age- 25
Age Relaxation:
Age Relaxation is applicable to the  SC/ST/OBC(A&B) candidates is as per rules.

SC & ST- 5 years, OBC- 3 years.
Ex- Serviceman - 3 years.
Others- As per Govt rules.

Application Fee of SSC CPO Recruitment 2020

  • For UR and OBC(A&B)- 100
  • SC, ST, Woman and Ex-Serviceman- No Fee
  • Payment Mode- Online and Challan

Method of Recruitment of SSC CPO Recruitment 2020

Method of Recruitment and Syllabus will be based on CBT Test Part I, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), CBT Test Part II, and Detailed Medical Examination
